BACnet is a reliable and functional communications protocol for Building Automation and Control networks. The protocol leverages the ASHRAE, ANSI, and ISO 16484-5 standard protocol. ACS have a number of BTL certified products which allow us to provide a complete and reliable communications protocol with many of our products. Two of these products are our Danfoss Vacon 100 range of AC Drives and the TridiumJACE-8000.
BACnet Testing Laboratories
BACNet International independently test products with a recognized testing organization in accordance with the BTL requirements giving users peace of mind and an assurance that the products they use are in accordance with international regulations. Currently, the BTL Listing includes 966 products from 189 manufacturers.
The VACON 100 range of AC drives has successfully completed testing under the BACnet Application Specific Controller (B-ASC) device profile. The Vacon 100 range includes multipurpose, decentralised, enclosed drives for harsher environments and an HVAC drive specific to pump and fan applications. The TridiumJACE-8000 successfully completed testing under the #BACnet Building Controller (B-BC) device profile. Niagara 4 provides the ability to view, monitor, and control devices over IP, raw Ethernet, or MS/TP media. Devices, points, schedules, alarms, and logs can be learned and managed from Niagara 4. Niagara points, schedules, histories, and alarming can be exposed to BACnet for monitor and control by foreign clients. In addition, objects like trendlog, schedule, calendar and event enrolment can be dynamically created, deleted and modified in Niagara by foreign clients. To view the Tridium Jace listing click here!
